Situated in the heart of the historic Derbyshire village of Winster, The Old Angel is a stone built 16th century former coaching inn with a wealth of Original Features including Mullion Windows, Oak Beams and floor boards.

The Old Angel is a three storey building sleeping 12 adults and 2 children under 10 years. It has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

On the ground floor there is a large, luxurious sitting room with an open fire, widescreen TV, DVD player, VCR and CD player.

There is also a comfortably furnished reading room or snug with an open fire.

Also on the ground floor is the large, traditional-style kitchen/dining room.

This has a floor of quarry tiles and is fitted with an AGA stove and range, and an old-style a set of table and chairs. The ceiling contains some magnificent old beams and there is even a chandelier to light up your meals!

Adjacent there is a pantry with dishwasher.

The Old Angel is fully centrally heated.

On the first floor are three double bedrooms, two of them with Kingsize beds.

Both of the Kingsize bedrooms have an under bed for 1 child under 10 years of age: - these must be booked in advance.

All bedrooms have a TV installed.

Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, but there is also a Family Bathroom with free standing ball and claw bath, WC, and a separate shower cubicle.

On the second floor there is a bedroom with Kingsize bed (which can be made as twin by request on booking).

This bedroom has a separate shower room with WC.

Also on this floor is a double French Room with a large ensuite shower room, and another bedroom with Kingsize bed (which can be made as twin by request on booking), with ensuite shower room

Outside the Old Angel there is one off-road parking space and a courtyard with garden furniture where guests can sit out and relax on summer evenings.
