Situated in the heart of the historic Derbyshire village of
Winster, The Old Angel is a stone built 16th century former coaching inn with a
wealth of Original Features including Mullion Windows, Oak Beams and floor
boards.
The Old Angel is a three storey building sleeping 12 adults
and 2 children under 10 years. It has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
On the ground floor there is a large, luxurious sitting room
with an open fire, widescreen TV, DVD player, VCR and CD player.
There is also a comfortably furnished reading room or snug
with an open fire. |

Also on the ground floor is the large, traditional-style
kitchen/dining room.
This has a floor of quarry tiles and is fitted with an AGA
stove and range, and an old-style a set of table and chairs. The ceiling
contains some magnificent old beams and there is even a chandelier to light up
your meals!
Adjacent there is a pantry with dishwasher.
The Old Angel is fully centrally heated. |

On the first floor are three double bedrooms, two of them
with Kingsize beds.
Both of the Kingsize bedrooms have an under bed for 1 child
under 10 years of age: - these must be booked in advance.
All bedrooms have a TV installed. |

Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, but there is
also a Family Bathroom with free standing ball and claw bath, WC, and a
separate shower cubicle. |

On the second floor there is a bedroom with Kingsize bed
(which can be made as twin by request on booking).
This bedroom has a separate shower room with WC.
Also on this floor is a double French Room with a large
ensuite shower room, and another bedroom with Kingsize bed (which can be made
as twin by request on booking), with ensuite shower room |

Outside the Old Angel there is one off-road parking space
and a courtyard with garden furniture where guests can sit out and relax on
summer evenings.
